You probably remember Emily, who I sometimes refer to as "Rosie". She is a dear friend of mine, fellow tap dancer, chemistry partner, adventurer, and creative jack of all trades. I'm pretty sure that a good half of the laughs in my little lifetime have been shared with her in all of our craziness. However, sometimes our innumerable jokes get the better of us when we're on stage and can't help but laugh when we're supposed to be yelling at each other in contempt… our last play together was a good lesson in how to suppress a smile or chortle, though I'm pretty sure I failed slightly during our performance. Last month Em came over for a "party" (at least, that's what we call it). Here are the results from our mini golden hour shoot.
In the past few weeks, I've had a few little bursts of inspiration with my work, but I'm really trying to iron some things out. I'm wanting to figure out if turning my photography into a business is a wise idea, so I've been praying and thinking about it. I know there is a lot of work involved in having a full-fledged business, a lot more stress, and a great deal of confidence required. But all in all, I think that being able to do something I really enjoy as a job would be such a blessing! Not only would I be able to do what I love, but I'd also be able to bless other people. Seems to me that that beats a "normal" job any day.
I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas break-- and I hope you have a very merry Christmas!
xx.

… But wait, there's more! ;) It snowed a few days ago, so after we finished studying chemistry on Thursday, we tromped into the woods for a little winter wonderland set. My toes froze, but my vintage wool coat kept me cozy for the most part-- and I think the result was worth the numbness.
