Catching up

Hello, beautiful ladies! Okay, I know that I haven't posted in a few days and I'm sorry about that! This post won't be anything too interesting, anyway, but I thought I'd pop in to let y'all know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. :) My past few weeks have been very, very stressful. It feels like every day something new happens... and it is such a huge struggle. I know you're probably thinking 'and are you going to tell us about this struggle??' Well, I can't really say everything at the moment, just be praying. I'm trying to trust God, because I know He is good and He has a plan, but it just feels as if His plan is only going to be fulfilled after I have struggled more than I would care for. But as my brother and I were talking in the car, as we drove extra laps through my neighborhood, discussing things as we usually do when we get home and have more to talk about, he said that although we are wanting a personal victory, that's not what we're going to remember or learn from. You don't learn that much from success stories or easy days. It's through the struggles that we grow. And so that's what I'm going to keep in my mind when I begin to hurt.

"...When my world is shaking, heaven stands.
When my heart is breaking, I never leave Your hands..."
-JJ Heller

Thanks for tuning in!

Love,
Lindsey

  1. That JJ Heller song is the perfect thing to listen to when you are feeling upset or pretty much ANY emotion. Its calms you down and lets you know that even when your life seems to be going crazy and there's no control on it, GOD is there watching over you. Another thing that comes to mind is the song Strong Enough by Matthew West. God never gives us anything we can't handle without His help :)
Sorry I just started blabbing on and on in the comment box but once I started I couldn't seem to stop :)
